Spooky Trees

One of my favorite templates for Christmas - made SPOOKY! I used my Christmas "Treet" Box template to makes these spooky trees - a perfect complement to to my Spooky Countdown House.

All you have to do to make your Christmas trees spooky is to alternate the colors of the panels - I did black and white, but black and purple or black and lime green would be great! There are 6 panels, so you will need 3 of each color.
Start by folding each panel on the dotted lines.
Fold all 6 panels.
Add glue to the zig-zagged tab.
Attach the next color on the tab, lining up the zig-zags.
Complete this 6 times, until the final panel connects back to the first.
Add glue to the tabs on the bottom.
Attach the hexagonal panel to the bottom.
You can stop here if you just want to use it as decor without the trunk. For the trunk, use this piece.
Fold on all dotted lines.
Add glue to the bottom tabs and attach to each side of the hexagon.
Push the trunk into the bottom - do not glue, as the trunk is meant to be removable.
Add your favorite treats to the trunk - I personally love a chapstick for this project.
And there it is!

Here is a look at the Christmas version - I used shimmer cardstock for this one.
