I'm in a retro kind of mood lately, and I've channeled that energy into this super cute template now available exclusively for my Patreon subscribers. I dressed this up for Valentine's Day, but you'll see it come back around in a new style for Father's Day this year! In any style, this template would pair really well with my 80's retro movie night treat templates - also free for subscribers!
Retro Record Gift Card Holder
This template is super versatile and makes the perfect easy gift. The top flips open to reveal a space to add a gift card, or maybe if you are gifting this to your S.O. you could add a "coupon" in there! Then, the base opens up like a box so you can add some candy treats.
Change Up the Style
When you open your file, you'll see I've included two styling options. Make sure to delete the one you're not using. I think the basic version would be great for Father's Day or birthday, and you could even choose to write a song name on the record to really make it personal. The one you see pictured here is dressed up for Valentine's Day - with heart accents and even a little heart to be scored into the grooves of the record... which is my FAVORITE part!
To get this scoring effect, select the yellow pieces on Cricut Design Space and set to "score." Then, "attach" to the black record piece. I just used a basic scoring pen, no need for any fancy scoring wheel.
