What's great about this layering style is the stability it adds to a project like this. Once assembled, its thick and sturdy on both sides. I added the knife on just one side to create a front-and-back.
Each box comes as one easy piece and can be resized - I would love to see these guys made larger for halloween decor!
Here's a tip: make sure you curl the sides BEFORE folding in the tabs. It makes the curling easier. I just use a Cricut scoring pen to curl, but you can use anything like a pen or pencil.
My Bearly Art fine tip glue was perfect for gluing the tiny tabs.
